The hunger strike is not going to keep the food prices in check, rather it will increase inflation, the explanation is simple, the people on hunger strike will go to Ram Lila maidan or other places instead of going to the offices, and they will be paid for that day, so they are getting money without creating any goods or services thus there will be more money and less goods and services, which will skew the supply-demand curve, thus inflation will increase..... on the lighter side we can expect this kind of comment from our dear finance minister..
